| Installation Explanation
1. Pipeline weight should not be added o water pump, but have own support body to prevent it from distorting and thus affect operating performance and lift.
2. Owing to pump and motor is integral structure, spotting is unnecessary in installation, so installation is very convenient.
3. Foundation bolt must be screwed down in installation to avoid the effect of vibration to pump performance when starting.
4. Before installing water pump, please carefully check whether there is hard articles (such as block, abrasive grit and so on) affecting operation of water pump in flow passage or not, preventing impeller and pump from destroying when water pump operates.
5. In order to make maintenance convenient and application safe, please equip a adjusting valve respectively on inlet and outlet pipelines and a pressure gauge around pump outlet to guarantee it operates in rated lift and flow ranges, ensure the pump operates normally and then increase its service life.
6. Applying to the occasion with suction lift, pump should be installed with foot valve, in addition, inlet pipeline should not have overmany curve bends or phenomena of water leakage and air leakage at the same time.
7. Back valve of discharge pipeline should be equipped outside gate valve.
8. Move pump shaft after installing, impeller should have stridulation or blocking phenomenon, otherwise, pump should be taken apart to check reasons.
9. Installation means of pump is classified into inflexible linkage and flexible linkage.
Starting and Parking
ⅰ Preparation before starting
1. Move the motor fan blade by hand to make it turn, impeller should have not phenomena of blocking and wearing, running flexibly.
2. Open inlet valve and exhaust valve to make liquids full of the whole pump cavity, and then close exhaust valve.
3. Set and Turn pump by hand to make lubricating liquid enter the seal face of machine.
4. Inch motor, and then make sure whether the turning is correct or not.
ⅱ Starting and Operating
1. Fully open inlet valve, close the valve of spitting pipeline.
2. Switch on power supply, and then open the valve on spitting pipeline gradually and regulate it to the operating condition needed after the pump achieves normal rotation speed.
3. Pay attention to observe gauge reading, check the leakage of shaft gland, under normal conditions, mechanical seal leakage is less than 3 drops per minute, and if there is abnormal condition when the temperature rise is not more than 70 ℃ in motor and bearing, please treat timely.
ⅲ Parking
1. Close the valve of spitting pipeline gradually, switch off power supply. 2. Close inlet valve.
3. If environmental temperature is less than 0 ℃ , liquids in pump should be discharged completely to avoid frost crack.
4. If stopping using for a long time, pump should be disassembled and washed, and then packaged for storage.
Pump Repairing and Maintenance
ⅰ Repairing and maintenance in operation
1. Water pipe must be sealed closely.
2. Forbid the pump to operate for a long time under cavitation conditions.
3. Forbid the motor to operate with supercurrent a long time when pump is under flow operation.
4. Check pump operation on time.
5. During operating, there should be special person to take care of the pump to prevent accident from occurring.
6. Bearing should be added with oil when the pump operates for every 500 hours. Motor power is more than 11KW and refueling device is equipped, furthermore, high-pressure oil gun can be used to fill oil directly, guaranteeing the excellent lubrication of bearing.
7. After the pump has operated for a long time, mechanical wear makes noises and vibration of machine set increased, at this time, the pump should be stopped to check, if necessary, quick wear part and bearing can be exchanged, heavy repair period of machine set is one year.
ⅱ Repairing and maintenance of mechanical seal
1. Mechanical seal liberation should be clean granule without solid.
2. Strictly prohibit mechanical seal working under conditions of dry grinding.
3. Pump (motor) should be turned for several circles before starting to avoid the crippling and damage of seal caused by sudden starting. Pipeline wearing reference list: lengths of valve and straight pipe converted from bend pipe: full-open strobe-12, strengthened standard bend pipe having opened fully-25, back valve-100, foot valve-100, assume that the flow is 8L/S, according to above chart, straight pipe per 100m wears 1.3m, and loses lift of 0.13m.
